Experience Synopsis
With more than twenty years of experience in guidance, navigation and control (GN&C), space systems autonomy, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2), Dr. Hussein’s career centers around technology road-mapping and maturation, and working with teams that provide both engineering, and research and development solutions focusing on single- and multiple-satellite formation, swarm, and constellation autonomous control and orchestration, SDA, satellite risk assessment and mitigation, and MDC2. Underlying these applications are the disciplines of decision and game theories, data and information fusion, multi-hypothesis tracking, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the integration of these disciplines with classical control theory, to generate solutions that are distributed, scalable, adaptive, resilient, safe, and trusted.
